There are some MAJOR benefits to being the Virtual President (hereafter VP). When you become the VP you gain control of the messaging system. You can type a message 155 characters long and it will be broadcast across the entire site including the homepage. We allow you to promote yourself, your website, projects you may be working on, etc. When your VP you can update the message as frequently as you want. On top of the advertising aspect you earn fame and reputation on TopFeuds which can help you climb to the top of the pack getting you closer to the Number 1 Spot. While VP your opinion increases significantly, on our RATE page your vote will count 3 fold and if your already labeled as an Elite Member your vote will count 6 fold! We save your message as the VP so if someone else buys the spot back from you people will still be able to see your message in the Who's Winning section.
As an extra bonus, we keep track of your total time as the VP and when the month ends we look at all the participants and whomever spent the most time overall as the VP wins the prize we display. How Do I Become the VP?
You first need to be a member of TopFeuds. If you haven't already done so please register, its fast and free. You will need to deposit funds into your account to gain control of the VP position. Every month we create a new contest. We base the cost per exchange based on the prize. Generally its between $0.10-$1.00. We try to keep it very low. Once you have money in your account you can simply press the Buy Now button that will be seen in the Virtual President panel and you can then begin to edit your message which will be broadcast throughout the site for everyone to read.
Winning Strategies
If your in it to win the prize and make it to the Presidential Hall of Fame your going to need some sick strategies. Since the contest is based on the total amount of time spent as the VP that month, it is very beneficial to control the VP position during non peak times, this way you are less likely to lose the position and you will clock up some valuable points! What a dirty trick...But in politics, you got to play dirty to win.

How long does the contest run for?
Click the 'Who's Winning' link in the VP panel to see the countdown timer of the contest. Once the contest expires we will reset and begin a new contest, results will be saved in our archive for other members to view.
How can I see who is currently winning?
Click the 'Who's Winning' link in the VP panel. We will show a list of participants and their current rank.
How can I see the prize for the month?
Click the 'Who's Winning' link in the VP panel. We display the current prize in the top left panel.
Is HTML allowed for the VP message I broadcast?
No
Can I post anything I want for the VP message?
We are very flexible but we do not allow adult related content or hate messages. We have no problem with you promoting things but please use your better judgment to prevent your message from being erased by a moderator.
